Der Fliegende Holländer on Blu-ray Disc and DVD

Ms. Grigorian’s debut performance of Senta in Wagner’s Der Fliegende Holländer at the Bayreuther Festepiele last summer has been released on Blu-ray Disc and DVD by Deutsche Grammophon. Her Senta was praised by Seen and Heard International who claimed:  “Asmik Grigorian gives one of the finest opera performances I have ever seen and does not just sing Senta, she becomes her! Grigorian’s dramatic conviction is total…”. Ms.Grigorian was joined by an all-star cast including Georg Zeppenfeld as Daland, Eric Cutler as Erik, Marina Prudenskaya as Mary, Attilio Glaser as Der Steuermann and John Lundgren as Der Holländer, under the baton of Ukrainian conductor, Oksana Lyniv.
