Rusalka at the Dvořák Prague festival

Ms. Grigorian returns to one of her signature roles, the title role in Antonín Dvořák’s best-known opera, Rusalka. Her interpretation was described by Opera Today as “intense and human with a sense of constant longing”. This time, she performs a staged concert version of the opera at the Dvořák Prague festival with the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra. Under the baton of Semyon Bychkov, Ms Grigorian is joined by Dmytro Popov as the Prince, Jan Martiník as the Water goblin, Jana Kurucová as the Foreign Princess, Jamie Barton as the Witch, Štěpánka Pučálková as the Kitchen boy, Jiří Brückler as the Hunter and Boris Prýgl as the Gamekeeper. Join this all-star cast as they perform this magical Czech fairytale as part of the festival’s ‘Opera in Concert’ series on 19th, 21st and 23rd September.
