European Recital Tour with Lukas Geniušas

This March, Ms. Grigorian commences her second recital tour of the season, accompanied by pianist Lukas Geniušas. The pair will continue to showcase repertoire by Rachmaninov and Tschaikovsky from their album ‘Dissonance’, which was released last Spring. The album received widespread praise and recognition. Classica described it as “…a kaleidoscope of emotions, each of these pieces presenting a little drama…”. This interpretation coincides with Ms. Grigorian’s own exposition, as the artist stated: “Most of Rachmaninov’s romances really demand operatic power. In fact, he wrote ‘mini-operas’ which last a few minutes.” This European tour begins with a concert at the Wiener Konzerthaus on March 10th, followed by recitals at Opernhaus Zürich on March 13th and at Konzerthaus Dortmund in Germany on March 15th. The pair then continue their recital tour in France, performing at the Salle Gaveau in Paris on May 21st and at Festival d’Aix-en-Provence on July 9th. The tour for this 2022/23 season ends with a lied recital at the Salzburger Festspiele on August 16th, in between Ms. Grigorian’s performances of Macbeth
