January: Gstaad, Berlin, and Verdi Requiem Tour

On January 3, 2026, Asmik Grigorian performs a recital of opera arias at the Gstaad New Year Music Festival, joined by pianist Tommaso Lepore.


Grigorian then appears in Puccini’s Madama Butterfly at the Deutsche Oper Berlin on January 7 and 10, 2026. The production is conducted by Friedrich Praetorius. The cast features Martina Baroni as Suzuki, Dmytro Popov as Pinkerton, and German Olvera as Sharpless.

Later in the month, Grigorian joins the Verdi Requiem Tour with the Cleveland Orchestra, conducted by Franz Welser-Möst. She performs alongside Deniz Uzun (mezzo-soprano), Joshua Guerrero (tenor), and Tareq Nazmi (bass) in concerts on January 15, 17, and 18 in Cleveland, January 20 in New York, January 23 and 24 in Miami, and January 25 in Naples, Florida.
