Opern Air Gala at the Wiener Staatsoper

Ms. Grigorian returns to the Wiener Staatsoper this September for the annual Opern Air Gala, which marks the beginning of their 2026-27 season. Taking place in Vienna’s Burggarten, the concert brings together an exceptional lineup of artists, accompanied by the Wiener Staatsoper Orchestra and Chorus under the baton of Maestro Marco Armiliato. 

Joining Ms. Grigorian for the evening are acclaimed tenors Piortr Beczała and Juan Diego Flórez, and celebrated baritone Ludovic Tézier. Ms. Grigoiran will perform arias from Bizet’s Carmen, Puccini’s Manon Lescaut and Madama Butterfly, and Tchaikovsky’s Picque Dame, as well as the duet “Vogliatemi bene” from Madama Butterfly with Piotr Beczała.

The event will be streamed live worldwide and free of charge on the Wiener Staatsoper’s streaming platform, play.wiener-staatsoper.at, with registration required. It will also be broadcast on ORF III beginning at 8:15pm, with an additional broadcast on ARTE on October 4th at 5:45pm.
