Charodeyka at Oper Frankfurt

This December, after making her Japanese debut, Ms. Grigorian returns to the Oper Frankfurt to perform the role of Nastasya in Tchaikovsky’s Charodeyka. Her interpretation of the role at the Theater an der Wien back in 2014 was praised by Seen and Heard International, who claimed: “Her big instrument rises over the orchestra with ease, but softer passages reveal a youthful, almost treble-like timbre underneath.” On this occasion, under the baton of Maestro Valentin Uryupin, Ms. Grigorian shares the stage with Iain MacNeil as Prince Nikita Kurlyatev, Claudia Mahnke as Princess Yevpraksiya Romanovna, Alexander Mikhailov as Prince Juri, Frederic Jost as Mamïrov/Kudma, Zanda Švēde as Nenila and Božidar Smiljanić as Iwan Schuran.

Performances are set for December 4th, 11th, 14th, 18th, 21st, 30th 2022; and January 8th, 2023.
