Rusalka at the Royal Opera House

After her successful performances at Oper Frankfurt as Nastasya in Tchaikovsky’s Charodeyka and the title role in Puccini’s Manon Lescaut, Ms. Grigorian commences the new year with a return to the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden, London, to perform one of her most renowned roles for the second time this season; the title-role in Dvorak’s Rusalka. Her interpretation at the Teatro Real in 2020 was praised by Opera Today who claimed: “Asmik Grigorian was a wonderful Rusalka, intense and human with a sense of constant longing.” In this new contemporary production by Natalie Abrahami and Ann Yee, Ms. Grigorian shares the stage with David Butt Philip as the Prince, Aleksei Isaev as Vodník, Emma Bell as the Foreign Princess, Sarah Connolly as Ježibaba, Ross Ramgobin as Hajny and Hongni Wu as Kutchtík.

Performances take place on February 21st, 24th and 27th; March 2nd, 5th and 7th. Tickets and more information can be found here.
